OVERVIEW

This document  details  the art of  parking  at Computerbank, it also details  "who"  can  park  in the  four  designated Computerbank car parks.

 GENERAL PARKING

General two hour and all day unmetered parking is available in the areas surrounding Computerbank. This is generally not too difficult to find if you are coming in on weekdays, but may mean you spend some time looking for a spot.

Parking is quite abundant on Saturdays, you can usually find a spot right out the front of the building.

COMPUTERBANK DESIGNATED SPOTS

The four car spots at Computerbank are reserved for WFD staff on Thursday and friday. Any spaces left after that are for rostered front desk people who come in early. After this the remaining parks (if any) are assinged on the basis of 'first in best dressed.'

On non Work for the Dole days, the four car spaces are reserved for 'rostered volunteers' who agree to turn up for a specific shift (ie Tues/Wed/Sat front of house/responsible person). Any spaces left, are allocated on a first in best dressed basis.

THE ART OF PARKING IN THE DESIGNATED SPACES

The loading bay car park should be reserved for people doing donation collections, usually this is Rob, but it can be someone else.

The first person (not picking up donations) should try and park flush with the "Road Rocket" boundary (basically in the gutter or right on the line). The next people in should park as close as they can to the cars on the perimeters. Doing this will ensure we can comfortably fit four cars.

CAR MAY NEED TO BE MOVED

If parking in the designated car parks, please be aware that we may request that you move your car. This will generally happen during metal pickups or when we have big deliveries.

Happy Parking !
